Eliza (Lisa) Hillhouse began her professional career in Washington, D.C. by serving as legislative assistant to Senator Marlow W. Cook of Kentucky, dealing primarily with energy-related matters, and as a sports consultant and analyst for the President's Commission on Olympic Sports.   She then attended law school and clerked for a large law firm in Houston, Texas.   She moved to Denver, Colorado in 1981, and began practicing all manner of natural resources law.   She now represents clients in state and federal forums concerning water quantity and water quality issues.   Her practice experience also includes environmental and land use permitting, securing approvals for mining, refining, waste management and real estate projects, title work associated with water rights, oil and gas and mining operations, environmental compliance and remediation, and related matters concerning oil, gas and mining operations throughout the western states.   Lisa joined White & Jankowski in 2003.
