Appointment of Truckee River Special Hearing Officer

SARAH A. KLAHN, ESQ., APPOINTED FIRST TRUCKEE RIVER SPECIAL HEARING OFFICER UNDER TROA

From the Truckee River Appointment Committee:

“The Appointment Committee established under Section 2.B.2(a) of TROA is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah A. Klahn, Esq., to an initial four-year term as Truckee River Special Hearing Officer.  Ms. Klahn is currently the managing partner at the law firm of White & Jankowski LLP, in Denver, CO, and has extensive experience in the field of western water law.  She has represented public agencies, water districts, and individuals in litigation in state courts in Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, and New Mexico; and has written and taught on water-related matters for many years.  The Appointment Committee received unanimous praise from references concerning Ms. Klahn’s skills as a litigator, negotiator, and problem solver, and was likewise impressed by her enthusiasm and interest in the Special Hearing Officer position.”
