Courtney J. Krause


CourtneyKrauseCourtney Krause joined White & Jankowski as an associate attorney in June 2015.  She is a fourth generation native of Colorado who was raised in Castle Rock and Breckenridge.  Courtney earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where she focused on environmental and water law.  After law school, Courtney served as legislative counsel to Congressman Jared Polis (CO-02) in Washington, D.C.  In this role, she advised Congressman Polis on issues involving energy, environment, natural resources, land use, agriculture, and water law.  Courtney has experience negotiating complex matters with federal agencies, local governments, and private entities, and drafting successful legislation, including the Lake Hill Administrative Site Affordable Housing Act (H.R. 2337).  Courtney currently represents both public and private clients on a variety of water matters, including transactions and water court litigation.
