Michael W. Daugherty


Michael Daugherty joined White & Jankowski LLP as an associate in May 2017.  He represents public and private clients in litigation and transactional matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked as a public defender for the Hopi Tribe and as a staff attorney for DNA-People’s Legal Services on the Navajo Nation.

Michael received his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where he earned a Certificate in Natural Resources Law and Policy, participated in the Natural Resources Litigation Clinic, and worked as a research assistant.  While in law school, Michael clerked at Western Resource Advocates in Boulder, High Country Conservation Advocates in Crested Butte, and WildEarth Guardians in Denver.  Michael received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a double major in geography and political science.
